As always we had so much fun with our “Name Our Prints” contest this spring. Once again, we asked customers to help us name our spring prints. We had some very creative and thoughtful names for this season’s contest and we enjoyed reading through them all. It was hard to pick the best ones. Our winners for the four spring prints starting with print #1 was Miranda with ‘Heartfelt Love’, Print #2 by Paula with ‘Lively Lollies, Print #3 by Andrea with ‘Classic Vroom’, and print #4 won by Mike with the name ‘Gronster’ — think little green monsters! These winners will win an item from the collection they have helped us name! Thank you to all who entered! Be sure to help us name …

We label our clothes with clear symbols that show the properties of each item. Which helps you choose clothes to suit the weather, activity and child.

A mini philosopher who strolls around thinking needs more warmth than a wild child who races around and climbs on everything.

We had a great time celebrating our cherished grandparents in our Edina Galleria store in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area over the weekend. Together with Donna Erickson of PBS’ Donna’s Day, Creative Kidstuff and the Edina Family Center, we hosted a fantastic line up of activities for grandparents and their grandchildren.

We like to get outside as much as possible–rain, cold, or winds usually can not deter us. This week as major thunderstorms have taken up the bulk of the day here in the Midwest, its been a challenge. We’ve tried to sneak bits of outside play here and there. A reprieve from the lightning after school gave us a chance to get out. We did not have to stray far. With a camera in tow we went on a little scavenger hunt around the neighborhood to find signs of new life.

We fit outdoor playtime into our schedule most days. But field trip days are special. We go a little further afoot. Weather in Montana can be challenging—think 50 F and sunny one day and blowing snow and freezing temps the next day. As long as we are prepared with the right gear, there are very few things Mother Nature can throw at us that we can’t handle.
