Background: In 2010 when Meghan’s son was born she realized there was a need for a nature-play program in Duluth area.     Grow plants with the children – spring is here! Gardening is a beautiful activity now that spring is here! It’s fun to play around with soil and seeds! It is exciting to watch when a small green plant emerges from the soil and then grows and gets bigger and bigger! When you grow plants with children, choose seeds that will grow fast so they don´t lose interest. It is extra fun if the plant can be eaten! Here are some suggestions for edible plants: cress, pumpkin seeds, sunflower and citrus seeds. If you are eager to get involved, help the little ones decorate or make their own plant pot!
