MEET OUR AMAZING PO.P MOM – JENNY LONNSTAM Tell us about your upbringing and how it shaped who you are today? I grew up in a small town in Sweden with three siblings, a mom and dad. We have always been a very tight crew and my parents always allowed us kids to be ourselves and to try whatever we wanted in life! We skied to school on snowy days, biked everywhere on the summers and had a very healthy outdoorsy lifestyle. This definitely stuck with me as a mom because I am working hard on raising strong, loving little humans and both my kids love nothing more than being outside. Rain, snow or shine! “There is no bad weather, only bad clothing” as we …

Taking good care of our clothes is one of the best things we can all do for the environment. Always follow the washing instructions, mend whatever can be repaired and pass any garment a child has outgrown on to a new owner. You can also transform any worn-out garment into something new, which is called upcycling or creative reuse. A top can be upcycled into a gym bag and mittens into sweatbands. Just use your imagination. GYM BAG FROM A TANK TOP An old top can be upcycled into a really great gym bag. Why not personalize your gym bag with fun cords and appliqué details? YOU NEED: – Sewing machine – Thread – Scissors – Seam Stripper – T-shirt – Cord THIS IS WHAT …

World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD), observed on 21 March every year, is a global awareness day which has been officially observed by the United Nations since 2012. The date for WDSD being the 21st day of the 3rd month, was selected to signify the uniqueness of the triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome which causes Down syndrome. Rock your Socks is an American initiative that the Swedish National Down Syndrome Association adopted when in 2015 ten-year-old Nathea went on Facebook to ask people to mark the day by wearing non-matching socks to school or work.
