Most overnight camps and even day camps assume your child will be ready for anything, despite the weather. Please remember to prepare your kids with enough layers, hats, rain gear and sweatshirts to keep them ready for any adventure.
Weather can be unpredictable, even in the summertime. We believe there is no such thing as bad weather if you have the right clothing. If your child’s camp is long enough, rain will inevitably find him or her. Make sure they are prepared with a light-weight rain jacket, such as our new Light Shell Style Windbreaker. Combine with a hoodie, sweatshirt or a fleece and your child will be ready for anything.
Recently, many parents have asked us about the difference between our spring/summer outerwear. We thought we’d help break it down for you.
These functional and retro-styled rain pants and coordinating rain jacket are perfect for a muddy walk, wet playgrounds, melting snow or puddle jumping. Designed with adjustable shoulder straps and elasticized foot straps to wear over boots, our rain gear is completely water proof. The big difference between our Rain Jacket and the Shell Jacket is the Rain Jacket is not a breathable garment like the Shell, but it has a great price to keep your kids dry!
Light Shell Style Windbreaker
We are excited about the Light Shell Style Windbreaker, which is a new product for us. It is perfect for those in warmer climates who need something to protect against light wind and rain. Designed like a lighter shell jacket with detachable hood and taped seams, the material is dirt and water repellent, with excellent breathability. A great item to pack for camp or summer vacation.
Wind Fleece Jacket
Definitely one of our best sellers, our wind-resistant and water-repellent Wind Fleece Jacket will keep your child warm and comfortable at camp or anytime. Each season, we are delighted to discover our Wind Fleece Jacket in new colors. This versatile jacket can be worn spring, summer, winter and fall and will be one of the best pieces of outerwear your child owns.
For cooler climates, like the Pacific Northwest, our sophisticated Shell Jacket will ensure that your child stays warm and dry in all kinds of weather as it is both breathable and completely waterproof. In colder weather, pair this with our wind fleece in coordinating colors and you have a winter coat for many different areas of the country.
