Twice a year, we challenge parents to get their kids outside to play for an entire week. Every day. That can include walking to school, meeting friends at a playground or taking a walk through a nearby park. The goal is to get families out enjoying the outdoors no matter what the weather.

    IMG_3888In most Scandinavian countries, you will find prams (the kind with big wheels to go over snow) outside houses, restaurants, shops and preschools with children up to age three, fast asleep. Many parents in Northern Europe believe that sleeping outdoors helps children sleep better and keeps them free of extra germs during the long winter months when everyone tends to migrate indoors.
