    By extending the lifetime of garments by 9 months, we can reduce the burden on the climate by a substantial 27% and reduce water consumption by 33%*.
    If you are tired of your old clothes even though they can still be used, it is much better to sell them or give them away so they can continue to be used. Doing so further extends the lifetime of the garments
  3. Did you know that Polarn O. Pyret cooperates with World Childhood Foundation, which works to ensure the right of all children to a childhood? Our collection coming soon online and in stores, Rainbow Stripes, symbolizes our long-term values in relation to the equal value of all children. All children are unique, and they are all equally different. For every item from the collection that is sold, $1 will go directly to World Childhood Foundation.

  8. Did you know that 80% of PO.P’s range consists of cotton? Our goal is for 100% of our cotton range to consist of more sustainable cotton by 2020, e.g. organic, GOTS or Better Cotton. We had achieved 39% by autumn 2015.

  9. Did you know that the most sustainable garments are those already hanging in your wardrobe? By taking care of your clothing, following washing instructions and repairing damaged clothing, you can extend its lifetime. When it is time to buy new garments, invest in quality products that last a long time.

  10. Did you know that at Polarn O. Pyret you can buy repair patches and loose footstraps to extend the lifetime of your garments? Half of the price of the footstraps also goes to Childhood’s good causes. The stores offer a basic range of our most common zip pullers and buttons free of charge so you can make repairs.
