The Swedish tradition of holding a Midsummer Party is a lovely way of bringing family and friends, young and old together. In Mid-June, school is out and nature has burst into life. It seems like the sun never sets. In fact, in the north of Sweden it doesn’t, and in the south only for an hour or two. This calls for celebration! Whatever the weather decides to do, the celebration goes ahead all across Sweden on Midsummer Eve which is the Friday closest to the summer solstice, this year it is Friday June 23rd. 0May 4, 2017 by Polarn O. Pyret

You can also transform any worn-out garment into something new, which is called upcycling or creative reuse. A top can be upcycled into a gym bag and mittens into sweatbands. Just use your imagination. GYM BAG FROM A TANK TOP An old top can be upcycled into a really great gym bag. Why not personalize your gym bag with fun cords and appliqué details? YOU NEED: – Sewing machine – Thread – Scissors – Seam Stripper – T-shirt – Cord THIS IS WHAT …

HOW OUR CLOTHING IS MADE
0January 4, 2017 by Polarn O. Pyret

When this has been done, an original is sent to the supplier for a print trial on fabric. Testing is the next step. The supplier sends garments in accordance with the instructions on the garment sketch and measurement list, and we test them at the head office. The design assistant and pattern maker check the fit and make sure …
