Improving the Fit

April 12, 2013 by PO.P Press

We continually work to improve our clothing from one collection to the next. At the end of each season, we receive feedback from our stores, as well as customers from all over the world regarding the fit and make of our garments. We see this as a chance to repeatedly improve. We compile all the feedback and review it. Many times the feedback is conclusive, but sometimes the feedback encourages us to take one more step. For example, the feedback from one style may describe it as “snuggly” in the UK and “too loose” in Finland.

With feedback like this, we then test it on children and sometimes send the clothing to Swedish daycares to receive further feedback. But as all children, are shaped differently, we use the European Standards of Body Measurements as a guideline before we make any permanent changes.

Our Fall/Winter 2012 Outerwear collection has been updated for this spring. We received so much feedback from stores and customers regarding the generous fit of the outerwear in the size 122-152 range, that an immediate review was required. The garments during the sampling stage were cross-checked and tested again, and we decided that the fit needed improvement.

For our customers who have been purchasing PO.P outerwear for years, we want to let you know that the garments in the larger sizes are designed to fit true to the size marked. If you are looking to size up for next year and have questions, please contact our customer service team so we can help get you the perfect fit.

This work to improve our fit is ongoing and may affect our garments season to season and style to style. We try to inform our store personnel if we have made any major changes so that customers can make the best purchase decision. If you ever have questions about size or fit, please email us at or 1-877-POPKID1/1-877-767-5431.
