Quite simply, Kiwi Crate designs boxes (or as they call them crates) filled with inspiration and all the tools so kids can create and have fun. It was built out of a passion for hands-on fun that encourages creativity and curiosity in children. Its founder, Sandra Oh Lin, had a deep appreciation for projects and crafts, but often found that her greatest intentions fell short — finding the time to come up with engaging hands-on activities, let alone get the materials, was a challenge. We all know how that goes.
Kiwi Crate is set up like a craft-of-the-month subscription. You sign up and designate the age/gender of your child. You can even choose what type crates you’d like to have. Inside each box is everything your child needs to create a craft, even down to the scissors. Instructions are included as a guide, but certainly creativity and thinking “outside the box” is encouraged.
We were delighted to see that many of their crates celebrate the outdoors and even get kids to take their creativity outside.
As a special introduction, we are partnering with Kiwi Crate on a fantastic giveaway. Fashion for play + the tools and inspiration to do so = a great springtime combination.
