Around this time of year, the markets in Sweden are filled with birch branches topped with feathers. Since there is very little blooming anywhere near Sweden, Påskris (Swedish Easter Trees), provide some color in the streets and in homes.
Certainly if you’re nowhere near Sweden to pick up a few feathered birch branches, you can make these at home with some sticks and a few feathers from a craft store. Hang a few Easter Eggs to complete the project, and you have a perfect decoration for the final days of Lent leading up to Easter.
How do you decorate for Easter?
